(Marshall, TX) Recently the Marshall Chamber of Commerce staff, board members and Ambassadors gathered with civic leaders, media, friends, and the owner of the Historic Weisman-Hirsch-Beil Home, Gail Beil, to celebrate the grand opening of the home as a Bed & Breakfast with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The beautifully restored home, located at 313 S. Washington, will also be open for special events such as weddings, receptions, meetings and parties.
The Weisman-Hirsch-Beil Home is beautifully restored and ornately decorated with antiques and beautiful glassware from Germany. Outside the home is sprawling grounds that offer a peaceful, shady setting with immaculate landscaping that includes a waterfall, small river and fish pond, herb and flower gardens complete with arbor and hammock. Mrs. Beil is renowned for her hospitality and for her in-depth knowledge of Harrison County history and African American history.
